Job Title:

A seasoned cloud security specialist will be the primary technical point of contact for potential clients during the sales process, driving strategic wins for security opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deep understanding of cloud security architectures, solutions and technologies including Microsoft M365 Defender, Defender for Cloud and Sentinel, as well as expertise in extended detection and response (XDR), zero trust and cloud security solutions and architectures.
  • Remediate blockers, lead and ensure technical wins for Microsoft Security and adjacent technologies.
  • Develop strategies and recommendations to enhance the client's security posture, shape technical win plans and tailor Microsoft messaging to the audience for security opportunities.
  • Enhance team capabilities for extended detection and response (XDR), zero trust and cloud security, and develop differentiated competitive strategies for Microsoft Security for assigned customers.
  • Lead technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, architecture design sessions, explain, demonstrate and architect the solution to help solve customer security challenges and priorities.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and familiarity with security frameworks such as CIS, NIST or CSA.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM systems, Next-Gen Firewalls and Secure Web Gateways, threat detection, log analysis, incident response, cloud security architectures and technical certifications in relevant areas.
