Cloud Security Specialist

">Job Description:

As a Cloud Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our cloud-based infrastructure. You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential security threats, as well as implementing and maintaining security controls to protect our data and systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures. This includes collaborating with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to design and deploy secure cloud-based solutions.

Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to internal teams on security best practices and compliance requirements. You will also stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and make recommendations to improve our overall security posture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience working in areas related to security assurance, such as cybersecurity, auditing, security architecture, regulatory affairs, or public sector agencies involved in cybersecurity management.
  • Experience working with governance, risk, and compliance programs that directly involve interaction with regulatory bodies.
  • Proficient with government security frameworks, policies, and standards (e.g. PSPF, ISM, DSPF, ASD Essential Eight).
  • Experience working with cloud technologies.
