About the Role

As a Senior Tax Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-level tax advisory and compliance solutions to our diverse client base. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a reputable firm and take your career to the next level.

The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise across income tax, FBT, CGT, Division 7A, and tax effect accounting. You will manage complex tax issues for both corporate and private clients, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including ASX-listed companies, SMEs, trusts, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of income tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT, and tax effect accounting.
  • Deliver tailored tax planning and advisory strategies, including restructures, consolidations, international tax, and succession planning.
  • Provide strategic advice on tax risk management, compliance issues, and legislation changes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • CA/CPA qualification with a degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Law.
  • At least 7 years' experience in taxation within a reputable firm, with proven leadership or mentoring experience.
  • Strong technical expertise across income tax, FBT, CGT, Division 7A, and tax effect accounting.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
