ClearSky Allied Health is seeking highly motivated occupational therapists to support NDIS and non-NDIS clients in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Toowoomba.

The Role

We are looking for occupational therapists who can work with diverse individuals and collaborate with like-minded colleagues to deliver meaningful support services in a vibrant environment that fosters growth and professional opportunities.

About the Opportunity

This is a chance to be part of something exciting, to grow with our organisation, and to be a part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

  • You will provide evidence-based person-centred assessment clinical management and intervention to people with cognitive physical or psychosocial disability in line with NDIS goals.
  • You will represent ClearSky and assigned NDIS and/or non-NDIS clientele planning and associated meetings in matters associated with occupational therapy.
  • You will manage a caseload of NDIS participants in their natural settings who may present with increasing complexity multiple co-morbidities and functional limitations across multiple areas of their life.
  • You will assess the need for modifications to home and other environments accessed by people with developmental intellectual or physical disability.
  • You will use occupation assessment checklist(s) and follow prescription requirements and processes when prescribing or recommending equipment.
  • You will provide a range of intervention strategies to address needs that relate to activities of daily living functional performance fine motor skills motor planning sensory processing perceptual motor handling and sensory integration of behavioural competencies.
  • You will assess the equipment needs of NDIS participants in relation to daily activities including sleeping sitting safe transport and personal care.
  • You will perform all other duties as required.

Key qualifications include a bachelor's degree (or higher) in occupational therapy previous experience in occupational therapy pre-existing registration with AHPRA and demonstrated ability to interact with clients families and service providers.
