Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Community Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality therapy services to our clients in a mobile setting.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing therapy services to clients in their homes or community settings
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for our clients
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and best practices in occupational therapy
  • Mentoring and supervising junior therapists to help them develop their skills and confidence

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in occupational therapy or a related field
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience working in a mobile therapy setting or similar
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
