Financial Operations Specialist Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for a comprehensive range of financial duties, including accurate tracking of account progress, efficient and timely completion of assigned tasks, processing and monitoring incoming payments, customer collections, and securing revenue by verifying and posting of receipts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify, classify, compute, post, and record accounts receivable data
  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Prepare and submit bank deposits electronically
  • Resolve client's billing issues and discrepancies
  • Facilitate payment of past due invoices using reminders, statements, and calls to customers
  • Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status and send to management
  • Communicate with customer accounts via telephone and email to attain payment for billed goods
  • Maintain documented progress on each account and ensure accuracy of accounting transactions and data
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
  • 3-5 years of receivable experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • General Ledger, A/R, and collections experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and strong computer knowledge
  • Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, deadline-oriented, confidentiality, thoroughness, and effective interactions with colleagues
