Job Description:

The Maintenance Manager is a pivotal role that oversees all aspects of property maintenance across our unique property.

This position reports to the General Manager and involves leading daily operations, implementing preventative maintenance schedules, and coordinating contractors to ensure seamless, safe, and efficient operation of the hotel's facilities.

With a strong trade background, preferably in electrical, plumbing, carpentry or general maintenance, this role is perfect for someone with experience in a similar maintenance or facilities management position, ideally in hospitality or remote location environments.

You will be responsible for managing the maintenance and repair of the hotel infrastructure, developing and executing preventative maintenance schedules, mentoring a small maintenance team, collaborating with external contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, and responding to urgent maintenance issues.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage the maintenance and repair of the hotel infrastructure.
  • Implement preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Lead and mentor a small maintenance team.
  • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers.
  • Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of WHS compliance and building regulations.
