**Your Opportunity**
We're seeking an experienced Associate Water Resources Engineer to join our Surface Water team, working on interstate projects of national significance. As part of our national delivery model, you'll have the opportunity to work on international projects serviced from our offices in Canada.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead significant hydrological assessments and water management projects across various sectors and industries, including renewables, mining, infrastructure, and transport.
- Bring deep expertise in scoping, leading technical components of hydrological and surface water investigations, such as rainfall, flow, and flood analyses, flood modelling, flood mapping, and risk assessments.
- Play a pivotal role in shaping and growing our Surface Water Practice, developing water management strategies and surface water impact assessments.
**What You'll Need**
- A minimum of 10 years' industry experience in hydrology/water engineering or a closely related field, with experience in hydrological, hydraulic, and water balance modelling.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data and translate information into solutions.
- A strong scientific or engineering background and understanding of scientific and engineering principles.
- A valid Driver's Licence and excellent driving history.
- Thorough practical understanding of relevant Australian State-based legislation.
- Exceptional technical writing and oral communication skills.
