Easy-Skill, a renowned consultancy, is seeking an experienced Senior Water Management Professional to join their team in Brisbane.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to work on projects connected with water management. As a Senior Water Management Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring that water is contained via planning flood defenses and designing systems to deliver water and sewerage systems to construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing comprehensive water management plans to ensure effective flood defense structures and efficient delivery of water and sewerage systems.
  • Using specialist software to map out scenarios such as flood defense failure and identifying potential risks.
  • Managing and maintaining water and sewerage infrastructure operations to ensure compliance with regulatory legislation and guidelines.
  • Presenting project details and technical information to colleagues and clients to inform decision-making.
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines to ensure our solutions remain compliant and effective.
  • Writing and advertising tender documents and managing contracts to secure new business opportunities.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, government agencies, local authorities, and suppliers to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
  • Maintaining professional relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure ongoing support and satisfaction.
  • Supervising staff and site workers to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Ensuring that projects stay within budget and meet deadlines.
  • Developing awareness of current environmental issues and implementing sustainable practices in our projects.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil or Water Engineering.
  • Experience in rural water supply networks, surface, and groundwater resources.
  • Registration with a recognized professional engineering organization (RPEQ, CPEng, etc.).
  • Experience working in the South Pacific and Papua New Guinea is an asset.
