Frontline Cinema Worker Junior

Cinema employees at this level undertake induction and training to perform their duties with customer assistance and cinema presentation as priorities.

Their role involves supporting the seamless operation of a cinema entertainment complex.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Completing all duties according to standard operating procedures.
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the cinema complex.
  • Ensuring correct product presentation.
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures including WHS practices.
  • Preparing food and beverages for sale while adhering to quality and presentation standards.
  • Stock replenishment in accordance with merchandising planograms.
  • Conducting ticket checks and providing assistance to customers.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of products and services offered to enhance customer experience.
  • Undertaking minor maintenance and repairs as required.
  • Attending mandatory training sessions as designated by EVT.
  • Demonstrating awareness of fire and emergency procedures.
  • May undertake cash handling training under supervision.
  • RSA qualifications may be required.

Operational Responsibility for Cinema

  • Net Promoter Score results.
  • Cinema checklists updated.
  • Interest in the role.
  • Willingness to help others.
  • Support of fellow employees.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Basic Maths and English skills are necessary.
