Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Risk Strategist in the Asia Pacific region. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies to minimize potential losses and maximize returns on investment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience in risk management or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, risk analytics, and business operations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex risk management strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering results-oriented risk management strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Overview

The Institutional Buy-Side Division is responsible for the growth of FactSet's institutional asset management, asset owner, insurance, and hedge funds clients. We're seeking a senior risk specialist leader to work with our Asia Pacific based specialty sales teams to drive growth of our multi-asset class risk solutions across the Asia Pacific region.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct FactSet's sales strategy for Risk & Quant within Asia Pacific by identifying growth opportunities and advancing how we position, sell, and monetize our risk solutions.
  • Partner with Specialist and Sales teams to present and demonstrate our Risk & Quant solutions to clients and prospects through a variety of mediums including virtual, in-person, or organized events.
  • Create and share thought leadership content externally. Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting our clients. Function as an SME/thought leader for stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key Risk & Quant decision makers within the APAC region, serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Develop inroads and foster partnerships with consulting firms to increase FactSet's positioning within the industry.
  • Partner closely with Product Management to inform the development roadmap with built-for-purpose solutions that address the risk & quant workflow needs for clients and prospects across APAC

Requirements And Preferred Experiences:

  • Minimum 10+ years industry experience in Risk & Quant.
  • Demonstrated experience as a thought leader in Risk & Quant analytics.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to quickly build trusting relationships with clients and within FactSet.
