We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team at Earbus Foundation of W.A. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in our mission to reduce the incidence of middle ear disease in Indigenous and at-risk children in Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive school-based intervention strategy for children affected by Otitis Media.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of our programs and procedures, ensuring high-quality care and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to establish functional communication goals and facilitate progress towards achieving them.
- Provide direct therapy services to clients as needed, utilizing your expertise in assessing and treating communication disorders.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluation findings, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Strong clinical skills in assessing and treating communication disorders, particularly in pediatric populations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience working within Aboriginal Australian communities.
- At least 10 years of experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with a strong background in community health and educational settings.
