Earbus Foundation of W.A. is seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team. As a Speech Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with children affected by Otitis Media and make a meaningful impact on their lives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessing and treating communication disorders across CALD populations. You will be responsible for developing a broad school-based intervention strategy and program for children affected by Otitis Media, as well as evaluating Earbus processes and procedures relating to clinical visits and standards relating to quality of care.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that there is a comprehensive system for identifying any risks to following processes and procedures and developing systems to mitigate these risks. Additionally, you will work as part of the Leadership team to ensure programs are delivered in accordance with our Values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a broad school-based intervention strategy and program for children affected by Otitis Media.
  • Evaluate Earbus processes and procedures relating to clinical visits and standards relating to quality of care.
  • Ensure that there is a comprehensive system for identifying any risks to following processes and procedures and develop systems to mitigate these risks.
  • Work as part of the Leadership team to ensure programs are delivered in accordance with our Values.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessing and treating communication disorders and populations in paediatric populations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
Desirable:
  • Prior experience working within Aboriginal Australian communities.
