About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect, Enterprise Solutions to join our team at TeamLogic IT, Vancouver, WA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data and information architecture solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and addressing data needs.
  • Assisting in delivering the Enterprise Data Strategy and providing data and information architecture services to key programs and initiatives.
  • Analysing the current-state data architecture, identifying gaps through the decomposition of information and data requirements, and developing future-state data architecture and roadmaps, ensuring data confidentiality, integrity, availability, performance, and scalability.
  • Designing and developing robust data and information architecture solutions for both transactional and analytical systems.
  • Creating and managing conceptual, logical, and physical data models, designing and optimising databases to support business requirements.
  • Documenting information architecture designs, data flows, and data processes, data integration and transformation patterns, standards, taxonomies and classifications.
  • Contributing to the definition and design of the enterprise data architecture, master data, and metadata reference architecture.
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Data Science, Data and Information Management Systems or a related field.
  • Substantial professional experience in data architecture, data modelling, data warehousing, database design (relational, NoSQL, etc.), data integration and information management.
  • Strong knowledge of data architecture frameworks, data modelling techniques, concepts and tools, data governance, and data security.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills, particularly when working with project teams and solution architects to manage their data architecture requirements.
  • Proficiency with cloud-based data platforms and services, such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or similar.
