Compassionate volunteers are sought to drive C Class vehicles and contribute to the delivery of essential goods. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those who need help most.

The Salvation Army is one of Australia's largest charities, supporting thousands of Australians each year. As a volunteer driver, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient and safe collection and delivery of donations.

  • Transportation Service
    • Efficient pick-ups and drop offs are crucial to this role. Ensure that all collections and deliveries are completed on time and with minimal disruption.
    • Accurately load and unload donations from the vehicle, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Quality Customer Service
    • Maintain a professional image of The Salvation Army at all times, displaying integrity and courtesy towards customers.
    • Provide accurate information to customers, addressing any queries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a Safe and Healthy Environment
    • Monitor the vehicle and its surroundings for any health and safety concerns, taking prompt action to rectify any issues.

You will be responsible for ensuring the vehicle is left clean and tidy after each shift, refuelled after each shift, and safely transporting donations while adhering to road laws and regulations.

To be successful in this role, you will require good communication skills, previous experience driving a C Class vehicle, and a current C Class driver's licence applicable to the vehicle type.
