The Cranbourne Doorways service provides emergency relief support to the local community mainly through the provision of Food Parcels but along with other resources. Our Doorways also provides a food pantry concept where those who are struggling can access foodstuffs.

This Driver role is integral to this service as the driver will collect usable foodstuffs from local supermarkets, Food bank and primary producer sources.
- From Monday through to Thursday ensure pick-ups and drop offs are performed in a timely and efficient manner. Hours can range between 7.30am to 11am.
- Ensure vehicle log book is correctly filled in.
- Assist to load and unload donations to and from the vehicle and ensure it is moved to the correct unpacking area in a safe manner
- Other duties as required
- Operate in a manner that promotes effective teamwork and good relationships with donators
- Keep customers and donors informed and updated of agreed delivery/collection times
- Be prompt, courteous and respectful when interacting with others
- Ensure vehicle is left clean and tidy after each shift and ensure vehicle is refuelled as needed.
- Safely transport donations, adhering to all road laws and regulations.
- Notify the Line Manager if unavailable to work rostered shifts, within 24 hours of shift.
- Maintain regular communication with Line Manager and team members to discuss your visits and any concerns that may arise
- Actively promote TSA in a positive manner at all times

Wear a supplied Identification Badge at all times when undertaking TSA duties- Exhibiting professional image of TSA, displaying professionalism and integrity at all times.
- Accurate information provided to customers.
- Refer people to appropriate Salvation Army services. Follow up with Manager if unsure.
- Listen carefully, and acknowledge and refer concerns, issues or queries to Manager.
