Job Title: Business Support Officer

Job Description

The Business Support Services Officer is responsible for providing general business support, administration, and frontline visitor management.

  • Providing quality frontline support services in a complex environment through multiple contact methods and tasks
  • Providing effective, efficient and compliant business support services in a timely and consistent manner
  • Maintaining a strong customer focus and engagement at all times and a strong team and individual approach to delivery of these services
Key Responsibilities:

Reception and visitor management, answering incoming calls, redirecting or escalating to appropriate areas, maintaining common areas in a safe, tidy and clean manner, and providing general administrative support to directorates as required.

Additionally, the officer will administer staff uniforms, maintain accurate records, provide support with staff onboarding and offboarding, act as back-up to Facilities and Asset Management administration, assist with functions and events, administer meeting room bookings, assist with intranet and internet content updates, and work collaboratively on business improvement and process capture initiatives.

We are seeking an exceptional candidate with excellent customer service skills, a positive and collaborative approach, strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. The successful applicant must be able to build rapport with visitors, staff, and consumers from diverse backgrounds, be highly organised, have problem-solving skills, and excellent computer literacy with intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills at a minimum.
