Lead a dynamic and engaged team as Obstetrics Department Head.

This is a senior role at an acute care facility providing surgical, medical, emergency, paediatric, obstetric and gynaecological services. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to showcase their strategic planning skills in this role.

The health service prioritises continuous professional development, excellence in patient care and innovation. This role requires effective leadership of the department's operations, including clinical aspects, educational aspects and overall performance.

You will work closely with the Operations Director to achieve efficient and effective management of the department. Key responsibilities include leading strategic planning for the department, managing budgets and resources, and overseeing staff performance.

The region offers a long list of outdoor adventure activities and a high standard of living. A successful candidate would be expected to possess FRANZCOG or equivalent qualification.
