Pharmacy Manager Job Overview

The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for leading a team of pharmacists and support staff to ensure the efficient operation of the dispensary, delivering high standards of pharmaceutical care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure operational viability through sound financial management and focus on core targets.
  • Manage customer service initiatives to drive loyalty.
  • Develop and motivate employees through effective selection, leadership, management, and ongoing development.
  • Schedule staff to meet labour policy and relevant model requirements.
  • Integrate with clinic and healthcare services to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
  • Registered Pharmacist with SAPC registration.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience post community service year.
  • Minimum 1 year People Management experience.
  • Registration with SAPC as Responsible Pharmacist.
Skills Required:
  • SAPC and relevant legal knowledge.
  • Ethical working practices and compliance.
  • Stock, cost, risk, and compliance management procedures.
  • Patient care, professional counselling, and customer service excellence.
Working Hours:

Contractual hours: 45hrs/6days
