Job Description

As a skilled hydraulic field service professional, you will be responsible for providing expert support and maintenance to industrial hydraulic systems and equipment. Your role will involve conducting on-site diagnoses, determining corrective actions, and undertaking site installations and commissioning of new systems.

Additionally, you will provide routine preventative maintenance services on existing hydraulic equipment, perform allocated work within the workshop, including cylinder rebuilds, pump and motor repairs, and testing.

  • Attend site and conduct initial diagnosis and assessment of hydraulic systems and equipment.
  • Determine corrective action to get the machine operational, involving repair or replacement.
  • Undertake site installations and commissioning of new systems.
  • Provide routine preventative maintenance services on existing hydraulic equipment.
  • Perform allocated work within the workshop, including cylinder rebuilds, pump and motor repairs, and testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold relevant trade qualifications (Diesel, Auto, Mechanical, or Hydraulic Fitter).
  • Have hydraulic field service experience with the ability to prepare clear and concise service reports.
  • Have hydraulic overhaul and diagnostics experience, with the ability to interpret hydraulic circuits.
  • Be flexible to work overtime and on weekend call-out rosters when required.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and demonstrate a safety-first mindset.
