**About the Opportunity**
Due to consistent growth across our business, we are now seeking a Hydraulic Field Service Technician to join our high performance team, located in Richlands QLD 4077.

This role will see you working across a broad range of industrial sectors, providing breakdown and diagnostics support on hydraulic systems and equipment used in fixed plant and mobile equipment.

Your responsibilities in this role will include;
- Attend site and conduct initial diagnosis and assessment
- Determine what action is required to get the machine operational
- Initiate the corrective action, which may involve repair or replacement
- Undertake site installations and commissioning of new systems
- Provide routine preventative maintenance services on existing hydraulic equipment
- Perform allocated work within the workshop, which will include cylinder rebuilds, pump and motor repairs and testing
- Maintain equipment, tools and work area along with good documentation and service records
- Direct and mentor trade assistants and apprentices where required
- Achieve chargeable labour recovery and work centre recovery targets
- Perform work safely and comply with WHS procedures.

**About You**
To be considered for this role, you will possess;
- Relevant trade qualifications (ie Diesel, Mechanical or Hydraulic Fitter)
- Hydraulic Field Service experience with the ability to prepare clear and concise service reports
- Hydraulic overhaul and diagnostics experience and the ability to interpret hydraulic circuits (desirable)
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics together with sound report writing capabilities
- Flexibility to work overtime and on weekend call-out rosters when required
- Effective communication, time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work well within a team and autonomously
- Valid Driver's Licence and demonstrated safety first mindset
- A desire to grow and develop a long standing career within the Berendsen Fluid Power business.
