Care Assistant Position

We are seeking a compassionate Support Associate to join our Accommodation Services team.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will provide personal care and daily living support to clients with high support needs, including those using wheelchairs and requiring medical support. They will assist clients to live with dignity and independence in shared living environments.
- Duties:
- Provide personal care and daily living support
- Assist with manual handling and use of aids
- Support clients with complex needs and medical requirements
- Foster independence and inclusion in shared living environments
- Build positive relationships with clients and families
- Manage challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
- Essential:
- Experience supporting high-needs disability clients
- Confidence in manual handling and use of aids
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for varied shifts and rostered work
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word & Outlook)
- Current Driver's Licence, Working With Children Check, NSW NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check

- SCHAD's Award Level 2 Pay rates from $34.58 – $37.73 (base rate) or $43.23 - $47.16 (casual rate)
