Senior Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Prunus Lodge Hostel in the Central West Region. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering person-centred care duties, including assistance with medication (if assessed as competent) and wound dressing, daily living activities, and supporting residents to continue doing the things they love.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or working towards)
- Ability to provide a wide range of person-centred care duties
- Desire and willingness to work with each resident to empower them to continue doing the things they love
- Care skills driven by compassion
- Experience in Aged Care desirable
- Team player who is highly motivated
- Availability to work various shifts across different days
