Job Overview

As the head of our technology audit function, you will drive strategic initiatives and engage stakeholders to ensure compliance and governance. This role requires several years of experience in technology risk, audit, or compliance roles, preferably in financial services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technology audits: Plan, gather evidence, conduct walkthroughs, and close projects efficiently.
  • Drive compliance & governance projects: Oversee compliance initiatives and support our Control Assurance Program.
  • Engage stakeholders: Translate complex requirements into actionable plans and foster collaboration across teams.

You will maintain senior leaders informed through clear, concise reports and dashboards that showcase progress and future state. You will help identify risks, manage remediation plans, and continuously improve cyber governance by working with frameworks like APRA CPS 230/234, NIST, and ISO27001.

About the Ideal Candidate
  • Several years of experience in technology risk, audit, or compliance roles, ideally in financial services.
  • Strong project management skills (PMP or PRINCE2 certifications are a plus).
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM.
  • Deep knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk, third-party risk management, and IT controls.
  • A collaborative mindset and problem-solving skills.
