Program Development Coordinator

Job Description:

This role is responsible for coordinating the Indigenous Health Workforce Traineeship Program across various health services in Western Australia. The primary objective is to increase the number of skilled Aboriginal people working in the healthcare sector, create viable career pathways, and build the capacity of local health services.

The program aims to achieve these objectives through strategic planning, administrative management, and provision of support to trainees. To be successful, the candidate will require strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Additionally, they must have a deep understanding of vocational education and training, as well as experience in program/project administration, recruitment, training, and development or a related field. A demonstrated understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is also essential.
