Role Overview

About This Position

This role is focused on promoting and coordinating a range of health, wellness and social initiatives in the local community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a welcoming environment, engaging local members to improve their health and wellbeing.
  • Cultivate partnerships with staff and volunteers to facilitate weekly programs, ensuring seamless delivery and excellent customer experience.
  • Onboard and administer clients into requested programs, managing client records and providing exceptional service.
  • Promote and network in the local area to increase membership numbers and drive program participation.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in Allied Health, Health Promotion or similar (desirable but not required).
  • Demonstrated understanding and commitment to improving the health, wellbeing and quality of life of older people living in the community.
  • Enthusiasm for working with older people, their families, carers and advocates to identify and manage goals and plans for improved health and wellbeing.
  • Ability to promote and coordinate programs, set timetables and develop program calendars.
  • Proficiency in computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Client records system.
  • Experience in or interest in working within aged care.
  • Current Driver's Licence and registered and insured motor vehicle.
  • Able to provide evidence of Covid 19 Immunisation.
