Program Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in promoting, administering, and coordinating health, wellness, and social programs for older people living in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and administer health, wellness, and social programs to cater to the needs of older people.
  • Create and maintain a welcoming environment that fosters community engagement.
  • Ongoing coordination and management of program calendars and events.
  • Coordination of staff and volunteers to facilitate weekly programs.
  • Onboarding and administration of clients into requested programs and ongoing management of client records.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Qualifications in Allied Health, Health Promotion, Leisure and Lifestyle, or similar.
  • Demonstrated understanding and commitment to improving the health, wellbeing, and quality of life of older people.
  • Enthusiasm for working with older people, their families, carers, and advocates to help identify and manage goals and plans to improve their health and wellbeing.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote and coordinate programs, set timetables, and develop program calendars.
  • Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Client records system.
