Position Summary

The organization is seeking a Senior Network Engineer who will be instrumental in ensuring the team's success through the effective support and maintenance of essential technologies and infrastructure. This role involves managing incidents and requests to deliver high-quality services and requires collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The Senior Network Engineer will provide comprehensive support to the broader team, leveraging extensive expertise across all network-related aspects. This includes close collaboration with infrastructure, application, security teams, and business partners. The role encompasses both business-as-usual tasks and project-based work.

Key Projects Include:

  • SDWAN wireless standards implementation
  • Network access control enhancements
  • VPN migration initiatives
  • Comprehensive technology refresh
  • Exciting upcoming projects focused on network security

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in designing critical network environments.
  • A robust background in managing and maintaining high availability and complex networks in an enterprise setting (minimum 1000+ users), including Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems, Load Balancers, IPSEC VPN, Routing and Switching, Data Centre Networking, Network Monitoring, and Security.
  • Solid experience with Azure & AWS Cloud Infrastructure networking and security.
  • Project experience involving the implementation of complex enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with Juniper, Palo-Alto, and Aruba technologies (Cisco experience will be considered if accompanied by Palo Alto and/or Juniper knowledge).
