Opportunity Overview

Medibank Private Limited is seeking multiple Senior iOS Software Engineers to join our team.

As a Senior Engineer, you will work in a cross-functional Squad to understand our customer's problems and develop creative solutions to take to market quickly.

You will have proven experience in fast-paced environments and apply strategic design patterns to result in maintainable codebases with sound coding practices.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Full end-to-end SDLC across iOS App Development.
  2. Collaborate with the team to solve customer problems through deeply understanding the technical capabilities of the platform.
  3. Work with the digital and venture teams to assess system requirements and specifications, identifying and addressing any potential issues prior to implementation.
  4. Design technical solutions for initiatives.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot problems, share knowledge, perform code reviews and process improvement reviews.
  6. Create and update application documentation for efficient support and future change requests.
  7. Enable procedures for reporting on system development project progress, taking action to deal with exceptions and unforeseen events.
  8. Maintain awareness of current Information Security standards and ensure all activities comply with the standards.

About You

  1. Relevant industry experience in a similar role using Swift for iOS app development.
  2. Experience with highly modular architecture and understanding of design patterns.
  3. Usage of modern Swift features and willingness to adopt new modern practices.
  4. Experience working in an agile team using Scrum or Kanban.
  5. Good understanding of test-driven development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and building high-quality solutions.
  6. Any experience with UIKit/SwiftUI and RESTful API consumption.
  7. Experience working in an autonomous team environment.
