Scheduling Specialist

Job Description:

The Scheduling Team is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join their team as a Scheduling Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining consistent and standardized scheduling end-to-end processes. You will provide training and ongoing support to schedulers to ensure their processes and practices are consistent, effective, and optimal across the team.

You will proactively engage with service delivery partners, providing feedback and support. You will establish services for new customers, review and monitor the scheduling system to ensure customer tasks are allocated, and review and manage SCHADS award penalty payments for front-line workers.

As a Scheduling Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment where you will be required to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining consistent and standardized scheduling end-to-end processes
  • Providing training and ongoing support to schedulers
  • Engaging with service delivery partners
  • Establishing services for new customers
  • Reviewing and monitoring the scheduling system
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a high-volume logistics role within a medium to large-sized organization
  • Demonstrated experience in using complex online scheduling systems effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to run reports from online complex scheduling systems, effectively analyzing data and providing optimization recommendations to the business
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
