Job Overview

The Healthy Ageing Specialist will lead strategic initiatives promoting engagement and wellbeing among seniors, focusing on reducing social isolation and enhancing digital literacy.

This role involves programme management, stakeholder engagement, advisory committee oversight, and delivering initiatives that foster resilience and inclusivity within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme planning and implementation
  • Building partnerships with external stakeholders
  • Oversight of an advisory committee
  • Development and delivery of programmes for seniors

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in social science or a related field
  • Experience working with seniors, people living with dementia, and community services
  • Demonstrated understanding of healthy ageing principles and World Health Organization Age Friendly Cities Programme
  • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others
  • Strong project management skills, including research, analysis, and problem-solving
