End-to-End Payroll Specialist Role

This is a highly rewarding role for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our Finance Team. We are seeking an expert in payroll processing with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.

About the Position
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Process monthly payroll for all staff accurately and efficiently.
  • Administer payroll services in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Identify and resolve day-to-day payroll issues, escalating significant risks or complex problems.
  • Assist with the monthly balancing and reconciliation of payroll control accounts.
  • Manage superannuation and salary sacrifice arrangements, as well as worker's compensation claims.
  • Collaborate with the People Experience (PX) team to maintain employee data integrity.
  • Respond to staff queries with a customer-focused approach.
  • Support the Senior Payroll Specialist/Payroll Manager in identifying process improvements.
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and self-management skills are required.
  • A genuine aptitude for self-development is important for growth.
  • Excellent time management and administrative skills are key in our deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with General Ledger systems, including payroll journals, is required.
  • At least 2 years of payroll processing experience gained from a large Australian company is preferred.
  • Prior experience with global payroll would be an advantage.
  • Cloud-based system experience would also be beneficial.
