**Job Title:** Capital Works Project ManagerWe're seeking a seasoned project manager to oversee the delivery of capital works projects from initiation to completion. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project outcomes.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver multiple projects concurrently, utilizing your expertise in the local government building and construction industry.
  • Liaise with governing authorities and utility providers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Coordinate design, manage contractors, provide technical direction, and guarantee projects are completed within specified parameters.
  • Collaborate with clients and manage project needs using effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A Class C driver's license and WHS construction induction certification.
  • Significant experience managing multi-disciplinary projects, including project finances, tendering, and contract administration.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in civil, landscape, building, and public domain works, especially within a local government setting.
Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of construction legislation and standards.
  • Proficiency in software like Office 365.
