Mining Our global team of over 5,200 dedicated mining professionals are supporting the industry to decarbonise mining operations in the accelerating green transition. Working collaboratively across borders and disciplines, you'll join a leading team working on interesting and complex projects. We are experts in our field, and we are passionate about mining. What you'll do: * Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6. * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors and stakeholders to gather input and ensure alignment with project timelines. * Perform critical path analysis and scenario planning. * Track progress, identify delays, and recommend mitigation strategies. * Prepare reports which support project end users, project management and the executive, including: milestone and variance tracking, earned value analysis, forecasting and cashflow. * Facilitate workshops for schedule development / update and recovery. * Integrate with the project team, including project / construction management, contracts / commercial, project controls, stakeholders and approvals. * Utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting. * Preferably use Power BI for advanced reporting and visualization. About You We are seeking an experienced Scheduler with 7-15 years of experience to join our team in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of engaging with project teams and stakeholders to develop and maintain accurate project schedules. The candidate will be an expert in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, have strong Excel skills, and preferably have experience with Power BI and reporting. Tertiary qualifications and experience in mining, water, energy or infrastructure are preferred. * 7-15 years of experience in scheduling. * Expertise in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. * Expertise in Excel. * Preferably experience with Power BI and reporting. * Preferably experience in preparing and running Schedule Risk Assessments * Preferably experience in project management software, such as InEight. * Tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction management, or a related field. * Experience in mining, energy, water or infrastructure projects.
