KPMG's Resource Management team plays a vital role in supporting the business to optimize resource utilization. As a trusted advisor, the team is responsible for allocating individuals to projects based on required skill sets and sector experience. The Resource Consultant works closely with stakeholders to match resource needs with availability, ensuring efficient and effective use of the firm's resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive greater efficiency in resource deployment by providing stakeholders with visibility of resource capacity and capabilities.
  • Ensure optimal staffing mix on client engagements, considering leverage model factors.
  • Manage scheduling requests and provide resourcing solutions to various stakeholders.
  • Provide analysis to senior stakeholders on resource management reporting.
  • Collaborate with the offshore data entry team to ensure data accuracy in the firm's scheduling tool.
  • Assist the National Resource Management team in finding suitable internal resources for projects.
  • Proactively identify and address potential schedule conflicts and suggest alternatives.
  • Take ownership of educating client-facing staff on resource management best practices.

  • Previous Resource Management experience or a similar field (e.g., Recruitment, Workforce Planning, Operations).

  • A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for actions, outcomes, and deliverables.
  • Proficiency in MS applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • A degree qualification or similar is highly desirable.
