About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead the electrical engineering aspects of our HumeLink project, a new 500kV transmission project that will connect Wagga Wagga, Maragle, and Bannaby in regional NSW.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering expertise in the design, fabrication, installation, and assembly of the project. This will involve working closely with our Construction Manager to ensure technical aspects of the job are clear and meeting contractual arrangements made with the client.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and plan the project with the Construction Manager to ensure technical aspects of the job are clear and to become familiar with contractual arrangements made with the client.
  2. Liaise with the Client on all technical aspects of the project.
  3. Provide engineering advice for sub-suppliers.
  4. Attend meetings with clients on all disciplines of the work.
  5. Liaise with design and detailing houses as required.
  6. Prepare inspection and test plans with the Quality Engineer and associated project-specific procedures.
  7. Ensure quality requirements of the client are adhered to and company procedures are followed.
  8. Conduct surveys of installations throughout the project in a professional manner, with results reviewed and accepted by the client.
