About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team on the HumeLink West project. The successful candidate will provide engineering expertise in the design, fabrication, installation and assembly of the transmission line infrastructure.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in electrical and structural engineering to work on one of Australia's largest energy infrastructure projects.

The role requires a high level of technical knowledge and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and planning the project with the Construction Manager, liaising with the client on all technical aspects of the project, providing engineering advice for sub suppliers, and ensuring that quality requirements are met.

  1. Review and plan the project with the Construction Manager to ensure technical aspects of the job are clear and to become familiar with contractual arrangements made with client.
  2. Liaise with the Client on all technical aspects of the project.
  3. Provide engineering advice for sub suppliers.
  4. Attend meeting with client on all disciplines of the work.
  5. Liaise with design and detailing houses as required.
  6. Prepare with the Quality Engineer all Inspection and Test Plans and associated Project Specific Procedures.
  7. Ensure that the quality requirements of the client are adhered to and that company procedures are followed.
  8. Ensure that the survey of installations throughout the project are conducted in a professional manner with all results being reviewed and accepted by the client.
  9. Provide written reports on engineering activities as required by the Construction Manager.
