Leisure Services Officer

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Leisure Services Officer - Lifeguard to join our team at the Hamilton Indoor Leisure and Aquatic Centre (HILAC). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our pool patrons.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and monitor pool activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment for patrons
- Provide first aid and rescue services as needed
- Conduct regular pool inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve operational goals and objectives
- Current Lifeguard certification
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
