Electrical Wind Technician/TFA – Main Component Contract – Horsham, VIC - 2-year contract

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Lead Technician, you will be part of the main component change-out team who will ensure that the project work is executed safely, to a high standard and with minimal downtime to the assets. You will work on behalf of the client, overseeing and assisting the sub-contractors performing with work, ensuring site procedures and QA standards are met.
Duties
- Actively participate in WHSE, toolbox and daily pre-start meetings
- Assist the contractors in the completion of main component change our program
- Responsible for electrical safety and assisting contracts in electrical works
- Implementing and managing QA procedures
- Advising contractors on-site standards and best practice
- Working hands-on up tower assisting contractors in specialist tasks
- Assist in achieving targeted wind farm performance standards
Requirements:
- Trade qualified A Grade electrician with GWO
- Previous experience working on wind farms within service or installation
- Experience with main component change-out programs (preferable)
- Able to commit to a long-term contract in regional VIC
- Physically fit and able to climb towers and work at heights
