Lead Function Coordinator

The Lead Function Coordinator will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and managing event operations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Motivate and inspire teams to provide genuine and memorable guest experiences.
  • Proactively develop and execute local events, collaborate with the Venue Manager to create marketing initiatives, and own all aspects of event management from booking to delivery.
  • Oversee six function rooms, catering to events for up to 350 guests.
  • Assist in designing, costing, and organizing function packages, establishing and maintaining customer databases, coordinating functions, liaising with suppliers, and updating promotional materials.

Requirements:


  • Great leadership skills in hospitality, combined with enthusiasm and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and inspiring, coaching, and developing team members.
  • Current industry RSA and RSG/RCG qualifications as per state requirements.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends, including Saturday nights, and a passion for the hospitality industry.
  • Prior experience in functions leadership, ability to develop people, and proven project management skills.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, ability to manage inbound enquiries, and maintain comprehensive client databases.
  • Flexible availability.
