Job Description:

The Learning and Development Manager plays a pivotal role in enabling excellence in HR practice across Australia.

Reporting to the GM, HR Standards and Capability, you will oversee the design, development, and enhancement of learning products, including short courses, micro-credentials, RTO courses, mentoring programs, and HR certification.

With three direct reports, you will foster a culture of collaboration and innovation while working closely with external subject matter experts (SMEs) and contractors to deliver high-quality learning experiences that align with industry trends and member needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate Degree in Business, HR or a related field is desirable.
  • TAE Qualifications and AHRI certification desirable.
  • Proven experience in instructional design and assessment development, ideally within HR or education.
  • A proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and emerging industry trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Experience working with SMEs and contractors, with the ability to guide and influence senior professionals.
