Electrical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to lead complex electrical projects in heavy industry. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our clients' operations.

About the Role

This position is centred on project management, overseeing the delivery of electrical and site projects from concept through to commissioning. You will coordinate project planning, manage site activities, liaise with clients and subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to scope.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee project delivery, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Undertake site inspections, collecting accurate notes and photographs.
  • Liaise with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors to achieve project outcomes.
  • Support tendering activities through estimating and pricing input.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures and value-engineering opportunities.
  • Maintain strong safety, compliance, and quality assurance practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Electrical trade qualification or higher in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Proven track record delivering projects in mining or heavy industrial settings.
  • High Voltage systems experience.
  • Capability to contribute to estimating and project tendering processes.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to work across different project sites.
