As an Elementary Assistant Principal, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the K-4 instructional staff, including teachers and instructional aides. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to integrate a biblical perspective into all aspects of the school.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Elementary Principal in supervising and evaluating elementary school faculty and staff.
  • Oversee the school's operation during the Elementary Principal's absence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure that a Christ-centered perspective is integrated into all aspects of the school, including curriculum development and implementation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all policies, procedures, and handbooks.
  • Coordinate with the Elementary Principal to ensure that elementary curriculum documents are current and accurate.
  • Supervise and evaluate elementary school faculty and staff.
  • Effectively communicate with students, parents, faculty, and staff.
  • Participate in admissions interviews.
Requirements
  • Possess a master's degree in education or a related field.
  • Have at least three years of teaching experience.
  • Achieve ACSI Administrative Certification.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher.
  • Display leadership and knowledge of elementary school instructional programs.
  • Exhibit excellent written and oral English skills.
  • Demonstrate time management and prioritization skills.
