Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Contracts Manager to lead our construction projects forward. This role demands an individual with exceptional project management skills, commercial acumen and experience in the field.

  • Prepare comprehensive subcontractor procurement schedules, scopes, lettings and packages.
  • Negotiate and finalize subcontracts, ensuring optimal terms for the business.
  • Effectively manage and track project expenditure, including subcontractor claims.
  • Progress claim assistance and external variations will be essential in this role.
  • Administer RFIs to internal and external stakeholders, maintaining strong communication channels.
  • Assist the Project Manager in managing multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Oversee sub-contractors and ensure they are meeting project requirements.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
">Requirements

Candidates should have:

  • 2-3 years' experience working in the Construction industry, preferably with a reputable organization.
  • Bachelor's or diploma qualification in construction management or a related field.
  • Experience working on high-value projects exceeding $1 Million in value.
  • A keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills and a passion for the construction industry.
  • Strong time management abilities and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Previous experience dealing with suppliers, negotiating and finalizing contract agreements is highly desirable.
