Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Health Specialist. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise in injury prevention, management, and rehabilitation, as well as support regulatory health surveillance activities and health promotion initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of health-related disciplines and be able to develop and implement effective return-to-work plans.

  • Provide guidance on injury prevention and management strategies
  • Develop and implement return-to-work plans
  • Coordinate case management with stakeholders
  • Support health surveillance activities and reporting
  • Lead field leadership observations and provide guidance
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related discipline
  • Registration with APHRA or ESSA or similar organization
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
  • Experience working in a large complex environment, preferably in mining or heavy industry
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office suite
