About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Services Manager to join our team at BDO. As a key member of our Business Services division, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality advisory and compliance services to our clients.

As a Business Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing client engagements and ongoing relationships, leading and advising on business services, accounting and tax engagements, and preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with regulatory, accounting and financial reporting standards.

You will also be responsible for performing various tax planning tasks for clients, preparing advice relating to business operations and regulatory matters, and working autonomously on tax and FBT returns and identifying non-compliance issues.

In addition, you will provide ongoing support for virtual CFO engagements with clients and engage with our culture of coaching and mentoring staff on engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client engagements and ongoing relationships
  • Lead and advise on business services, accounting and tax engagements
  • Prepare and review financial statements
  • Perform tax planning tasks and prepare advice
  • Work autonomously on tax and FBT returns
  • Provide ongoing support for virtual CFO engagements
