About the Role

This position is a fantastic opportunity to work with Health Workforce Queensland as a Senior Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing and contributing to the planning, development, and delivery of high-quality and cost-effective services to all people seeking and receiving a service.

Key Duties
  • Provide comprehensive specialised assessments and develop, evaluate, and review individualised plans and reports following company policy and procedures.
  • Contribute to the provision and development of expert contemporary practice advice to people accessing services.
  • Participate in research and the development, implementation, and review of policy or program initiatives for the provision of professional services.
  • Maintain client service records in accordance with company policy and procedures, and legislative requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, open, and transparent relationships with referrers, parents, clients, and other stakeholders in the community.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary degree or higher qualification from a recognised University in Occupational Therapy.
  • High level of interpersonal skills, including effective communication, negotiation, leadership, conflict resolution, and teamwork skills.
  • Innovative and strategic approach to client service delivery and organisational improvement.
  • Ability to demonstrate and encourage teamwork.
  • Strength in building customer and stakeholder relationships.
  • Current AHPRA Registration.
  • Current Yellow Card (NDIS Worker Screening).
About the Benefits

The successful candidate will enjoy a highly competitive base salary of $100,000 - $115,000 per annum, along with various benefits, including fully covered Professional Indemnity Insurance, regular supervision and support, and bonuses for making and exceeding targets.
