Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Occumax. As a paediatric specialist, you will work with children from ages 0-18, their families, and other involved parties to promote happy, calm, and connected family and community lives.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver occupational therapy services to children with a wide range of developmental conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and social/emotional difficulties.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, including Allied Health Team Leaders and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy sessions to children and their families.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of group therapy programs, parent information sessions, and other community-based initiatives.

- Bachelor or Masters entry degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognised institution.
- General Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist.
- Ability to work independently, have great time management skills, and be an effective team member.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify own learning needs, strengths, and limitations, and seek out appropriate tools and resources to improve own skills and competencies.
