Job OverviewThe Accounting Coordinator role is integral to the efficient operation of our business, ensuring our clients and law firm partners receive outstanding service. We pay invoices from law firms, making accounts payable and receivable processes more extensive than in a traditional business.
Key Responsibilities:- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Manage invoice pipeline, update systems and loan statuses
- Process vendor invoices and payments, including contractor payments
- Client invoicing and repayment management, tracking repayments and updating repayment register
- Bank and Account Management:
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Repayment tracking
- Bank account confirmations
- Loan Management:
- Administer loans, working out partial/final repayments, closure of client account and communication with third parties
- Review loans and ensure system accuracy, investigating anomalies
- Liaise with law firms for refunds and payment/banking confirmations
- Reporting:
- Compile regular and ad hoc reports
- Financial reporting and reconciliation, including monthly reports and BAS/IAS
- Payroll processing:
- Monthly payroll for teams
- Customer Service:
- Deal with clients and law firms, emailing invoices and remittance copies and responding to queries regarding invoices
- Other tasks:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable role
- Xero accounting software experience highly regarded
- CRM software experience
