Student Services Manager

About the Role:

As a Student Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing student experience and supporting academic success. This full-time position is based in our Armadale call centre and will see you leading a team of professionals to deliver exceptional support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the student service department ensuring efficient delivery of services
  • Lead, manage and develop a team of professionals to provide high-quality support to students
  • Liaise with academic staff to identify and address needs of students implementing proactive strategies
  • Manage student enquiries, complaints and feedback resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures and systems to streamline student service processes
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall student experience
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of student service offerings
  • Prepare reports and analyse data to inform decision-making and service enhancements
Requirements:

We are seeking an individual with:

  • At least 3+ years' experience in a student service or student support role within the education sector or relevant customer service experience
  • Or holds an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in a relevant field
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage effectively with students, staff and stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a solutions-oriented approach
  • Proficient in data analysis and report writing to drive continuous improvement
